RYAN R. McBRIDE

RYAN R. McBride is a partner in the Scranton, Pennsylvania office of Weber Gallagher. He handles a wide range of high-level defense actions, and is focused on professional liability – including medical malpractice and legal malpractice – and general liability matters, including premises liability, products liability, and municipal liability.

On the medical malpractice front, McBride works with hospitals and health systems, as well as physicians, ambulance companies, physician groups, and EMS providers, defending them against claims of catastrophic injury.

General liability is an area in which McBride has a variety of experience, including handling premises liability matters such as fall-down injuries, for businesses both large and small.

McBride has legal malpractice knowledge and experience as it pertains to litigation and transactional claims. Additionally, he provides legal advice to court-appointed guardians and represents them in Orphans’ Court.

McBride was named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers in 2022. McBride earned a BBA from Temple University, and a JD from Widener University School of Law.

Married with two children, McBride traces his maternal Irish ancestry to Co. Mayo four generations back. His paternal roots are in Co. Donegal, also four generations ago. He is a member of the Irish Cultural Society of Scranton.
