CONOR M. KELLY

CONOR M. Kelly is a shareholder with Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger in San Francisco. He specializes in representing plaintiffs in cases involving catastrophic injury or death. He is a tireless advocate for injury victims with a long track record of outstanding results.

Kelly has obtained seven and eight figure jury verdicts in variety of tort cases throughout California. His success in the courtroom has led to numerous accolades, including being named the 2019 San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Lawyer of the Year. In 2021 he was named to the California Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list.

His recent verdicts include a $38.6 million jury verdict on behalf of a 19-year-old client rendered quadriplegic by medical negligence; a $5.4 million verdict on behalf of a family harmed in a multi-vehicle automobile collision involving a Super Shuttle van; and a $3 million verdict for negligent building maintenance which resulted in a deadly electrical fire inside a tenant’s apartment.

Kelly also has experience handling multi-party claims mass tort, having represented a group of Irish nationals in premises liability and construction defect claims stemming from the tragic Berkeley balcony collapse of June 2015 in which five Irish college students perished.

Kelly has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America. Northern California Super Lawyers has named him every year since 2013.

Kelly is a former collegiate baseball player at Cornell University and a cum laude graduate of University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He has served as an adjunct professor at Hastings and regularly serves as an invited speaker at continuing legal education programs.

Kelly traces his Irish ancestry to counties Sligo and Donegal. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. His father is fellow Irish Legal 100 member Michael A. Kelly.
