MARK R. MOLTER

MARK R. Molter is of counsel at DeFur Voran, which has four offices throughout Indiana. He is a commercial litigator who represents individuals, small businesses, and large companies in disputes ranging from tort, contract, fiduciary, property, and employment matters. Molter also uses his experience as a business owner to serve as general outside counsel to companies in the agribusiness, manufacturing, financial, and services industries. Born in Lafayette and raised on a farm in Newton County, Indiana, Molter began his practice in Boston and practiced at large law firms before returning to his home area. Molter is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ouibache Music Festival; a member of Indiana University Health – Arnett, Philanthropy Council; and a member of the Lafayette Police Foundation. Molter earned a BA with high honors from Indiana University, and a JD, cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School. Married with three children, Molter traces his Irish ancestry seven generations back to counties Kilkenny and Waterford.
