JOHN B. MULLAHY

JOHN B. Mullahy is a partner at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP, and runs the firm’s Parsippany, New Jersey office. His practice focusesonprofessionalliabilitydefense,insuranceand commercial litigation, the defense of claims brought by prisoners, employment practices liability, and risk management. Mullahy handles claims pre-suit through trial and appeal, and represents medical and mental health professionals in disciplinary actions. He has spoken about and written various articles on professional liability, risk management, cyber liability and general liability issues in New Jersey and throughout the country. He has also spoken on electronic medical records, sepsis, cannabis and statutes of limitations at various seminars. Mullahy earned a BA from College of the Holy Cross, and a JD from St. John’s University School of Law. Mullahy and his wife Lisa have a teenage son named Conor Brian. He traces his Irish heritage back three generations on his mother’s side to counties Westmeath and Clare. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Brehon Law Society and the Irish American Association of Northwest Jersey.
