In addition to his litigation practice, he is a certified Superior Court mediator and regularly serves as an arbitrator.

White has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers every year since 2009. He is also named by The Best Lawyers in America (20162023) and Chambers USA (2019-2022). He maintains an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

White earned a BA, summa cum laude, from Gardner Webb University, and a JD, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During his four years of active duty in the Navy, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals.

White and his wife, a physician, are the parents of four children. “My Irish heritage traces back through my mother’s side (maiden name Fleming). Her maternal grandmother was a Reed and her great-grandmother was a Bailey,” he says. “My wife and I took our children to Dublin and surrounding areas for a very meaningful week-long visit prior to the pandemic.”
