JOHN C. Connell is a shareholder/partner at Archer & Greiner, P.C., and is based in the firm’s Voorhees, New Jersey office. He practices civil litigation as first-chair trial attorney in jury and bench trials and appeals in state and federal courts.

Connell’s clients range from Fortune 100 companies to individuals in an array of complex commercial, employment, civil rights, communications law, healthcare and intellectual property matters. His work has resulted in precedential reported opinions on issues of constitutional jurisprudence, as well as statutory and common law.

As chair of the firm’s Media and Communications Law Group, Connell has represented local, regional and national companies in a broad variety of communications law issues. Among other things, his work has resulted in precedential reported opinions on First Amendment jurisprudence, as well as public records and access issues. Connell also serves as chair of the firm’s Appellate Advocacy Group.

New Jersey Super Lawyers has recognized Connell every year since 2006. The Best Lawyers in America named him from 2013-2016, and 2019-2022.

Connell earned an AB from Columbia University, an MPA from New York University, and a JD from Rutgers University Law School.

Married with four children, Connell’s maternal Irish relatives came from Co. Wexford three generations ago; his father’s roots are in Co. Cavan, five generations back. He is a member of the Brehon Law Society.
