CHRISTOPHER R. Dunn has been a partner at DeCaro, Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP since its doors opened in 1993. He has managed the Litigation Practice Group for the past 25 years.

Among his many career achievements, when the University of Maryland announced its intention to exit the Atlantic Coast Conference and join the Big Ten Conference beginning on July 1, 2014, the ACC hired Dunn to represent its interest in the lawsuit filed by the University of Maryland in Prince George’s County Circuit, resulting in the case being dismissed.

In 2011, Dunn was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. In 2014, he was inducted into the American College of Trial Advocates. Dunn was also named by Maryland and Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers for the years 2009-2023.

Dunn is regularly asked by clients and colleagues to serve on panels, lecture, and present seminars in the areas of general liability claims, litigation and claims management, and risk management.

Dunn earned a BA, with honors, in history and politics from Villanova University, and a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Married with two daughters, Dunn traces his maternal Irish ancestry to Co. Wexford, and his paternal roots to Co. Mayo. His ancestors are believed to have emigrated four generations ago.
