TIMOTHY D. McMAHON

TIMOTHY D. McMahon is a partner at Corsiglia McMahon & Allard, a personal injury law firm co-founded in 2005 by McMahon in San Jose, California.

McMahon specializes in plaintiff’s personal injury and product liability. He has several verdicts and settlements that are among the largest in the state.

McMahon has been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2008 as one of the top personal injury attorneys in California. He was selected as the 2013 and 2019 Santa Clara County Trial Lawyer of the Year, and was also named a Street Fighter of the Year finalist in 2010 by the California Consumer Attorneys.

He has been included in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 in California since 2012, as well as the top one percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

McMahon is an associate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation only organization of the most skilled and distinguished trial lawyers in the country. He maintains an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is rated superb by

McMahon earned an undergraduate degree in pharmacology with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Santa Clara School of Law.

Prior to attending law school, McMahon worked with physicians and scientists at a research hospital studying the biochemical effects of diabetes and other diseases. His detailed knowledge of medicine and biochemistry is well known among his colleagues and is unique in the field of personal injury.

McMahon’s paternal grandparents were from Co. Clare. He and his wife Lisa have three children, twins Kate and Erin, and Patrick. Kate graduated from Georgetown Law in 2021 and is at Sidley Austin in Los Angeles; Erin graduated from UCLA Law and is with Jones Day in San Francisco.
