KATHLEEN NASTRI

KATHLEEN Lenehan Nastri is a member of Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, and is based in the firm’s Bridgeport, Connecticut office. Her focus is on medical malpractice, personal injury and other complex cases.

Nastri has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $58 million verdict, the largest medical malpractice verdictinConnecticuthistory,foraNorwalkfamily whose son suffered a birth injury that resulted in cerebral palsy. She also won a $12.3 million verdict for the family of a five-year-old girl whodrownedattheWaterburyBoys&GirlsClub.

Before joining Koskoff, she was head of the Plaintiff’sPersonalInjuryPracticeGroupataWaterbury-based law firm, where she began assisting clients in 1986.

In 2017, Nastri was elected president of the American Association of Justice, and she continues to serve on the association’s Board of Governors. She has also held numerous leadership positions with Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), including becoming its first woman president in 2003, and is on the editorial board of CTLA’s Forum Magazine.

Nastri earned a BA from the University of Connecticut, and a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Married with four children, Nastri’s maternal grandparents were from Co. Kerry. Her paternal grandparents came from counties Mayo and Cork.
