REGINA M. SPIELBERG

REGINA M. Spielberg is a partner at Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP, which has offices in New Jersey and New York. She co-chairs the Estate, Gift and Charitable Planning Practice Group.

Certified as an elder law attorney by the ABA Accredited National Elder Law Foundation, and as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, Spielberg assists seniors, people with disabilities and their families in connection with a variety of legal issues including elder care, special needs planning and planning for incapacity, with an emphasis on promoting the best quality of life for the individuals. She was also invited to join the Council of Advanced Practitioners of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a group of highly experienced elder law and special needs planning attorneys.

Spielberg is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council and past chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. She is the past president and a current member of the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Bergen County.

Spielberg is a regular lecturer on elder and disability law and trust and estate law for both professional and client organizations. She has authored and/or co-authored many articles on these subjects.

Spielberg was included on the list of Bergen County’s Top Lawyers in 2020 and 2021 by Bergen Magazine. She has been recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers every year since 2010, and is AV rated by MartindaleHubbell.

Spielberg earned a BS from Montclair State University, an MBA from Long Island University, and a JD from Rutgers School of Law.

A mother of two children, Spielberg traces her Irish ancestry back three generations to Co. Sligo.
