During his final year of law school, he assisted his classmates in a student-formulatedcapstonecoursethatauthoredandlobbiedforlegislationthat wasultimatelyenactedbytheIllinoisGeneralAssemblybenefitingSpecialOlympics Chicago and Special Children’s Charities.

Tully is a second generation Irish American whose grandparents came from Killasser, Swinford, Co. Mayo. He is a board member of both the Celtic Legal Society and the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago.
