CRAIG D. TOBIN

CRAIG D. Tobin is the founder of Tobin & Muñoz, L.L.C. in Chicago. He is a noted trial attorney who has guided numerous clients through cases which have attracted intensive media coverage and have changed or defined the law.

Among Tobin’s areas of practice are wrongful death, sexual harassment, products liability, medicalmalpractice,employmentdiscrimination and civil rights. One hundred percent of his practice is devoted to litigation.

Tobin founded Craig D. Tobin & Associates in 1985 when he left the Homicide Task Force of the CookCountyPublicDefender’sOffice.Hewasjoined by the late Honorable Robert J. Collins.

TobinbeganhiscareerintheCookCountyPublic Defender’s Office on the Murder Task Force. He tried numerous capital cases, and achieved an unprecedented number of acquittals in high profile cases.

Tobin is an instructor and faculty member for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, a premier provider of trial skills, training seminars and litigationrelated publications for attorneys. He has given numerous lectures on the art of cross-examination and closing arguments.

Tobin is regularly featured in publications including the Chicago Tribune and American Bar Journal. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Chicago Super Lawyers, Leading Lawyers and Leading American Lawyers. Tobin also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Who’s Who.

Tobin earned a BA with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a JD with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Married with two children, Tobin’s O’Connor and Tobin roots originate in counties Kilkenny and Mayo.
